Centrepiece Cooking

How to Cook: Rib of Beef

Our award-winning, organic and grass fed Beef Rib on the Bone makes for an absolutely stunning centrepiece, especially gorgeous when cooked to perfection. Bursting with meaty flavour, this rib is best cooked low and slow so it’s melting off the bone. This 3-star Great Taste Award-winning Beef Rib is a true Eversfield Organic favourite, so follow this approved recipe for an easy to cook, show-stopping Easter Sunday roast.

Leg of Lamb with Mint & Lemon

Our whole leg of organic and grass fed lamb with the shank on is a classic roasting joint. Perfect with a rich gravy and sprinkling of fresh mint for a real crowd-pleaser. Our Roast Leg of Lamb with Mint & Lemon takes full advantage of our classic Leg of Lamb, cooking low and slow for a fall off the bone result. Cut thick slices of this organic lamb and combine with juicy gravy and roasted garlic potatoes for an unbeatable roast this Easter Sunday. You never know, this dish could become a family favourite in no time.

How to Cook: Roast Chicken

Our best-selling Whole Chickens are slow-grown and raised to the highest of organic and free-range standards in the Devon countryside. This natural lifestyle creates a flavoursome and succulent meat, perfect for oven roasting. Organic chicken is a firm favourite or roast dinners across the country, despite its long history. And at Eversfield Organic, much like the rest of Britain, we’re big fans of a plate-full of roast chicken. Find our tried and tested method in our How to Cook Roast Chicken recipe.

Olia’s Duck

Our fresh, succulent ducks are also free-range and organic, raised naturally in East Devon. Fresh Duck makes for a beautiful roast, especially when crisped up in a hot oven and served with roast potatoes and a full flavoured, fruity gravy. Or, if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, try Professional Chef Olia Hercules’ duck recipe with kraut and dried apricot stuffing. Partly inspired by her mother’s preparation of duck, and by a Lithuanian stuffed goose recipe, this dish screams flavour.

Something Sweet

Easter Chocolate Nests

This popular Easter recipe is perfect for getting the whole family involved. These chocolate nests are delicious with minimal effort needed. Try this simple Easter recipe to satisfy your sweet tooth.

  1. Grab an oven muffin tray and lay a sheet of clingfilm over, gently pressing into each hole.
  2. Crumble the oats into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Chop the organic chocolate into small chunk and pop in a bowl over a saucepan filled with simmering water. Add the butter and syrup to the bowl with the chocolate.
  4. Make sure the chocolate mixture bowl isn’t touching the water beneath, then gently melt the ingredients together.
  5. Once melted and combined, remove the bowl from the pan and pour the chocolate mixture over the oats. Combine well in the mixing bowl.
  6. Fill the clingfilm covered muffin holes with the mixture and create a small dent into the top of each with the back of a spoon. Think of making a little nest shape.
  7. Allow the nests to cool before removing from the muffin tray and add each to a cupcake case.
  8. Once fully cooled, top each nest with its own Easter decoration.
