Here at Eversfield Organic, we are big fans of our organic dairy suppliers, and we believe if you were able to visit them, you’d see why. We know you understand us when we tell you how irresistible their organic products are but we want you to be able to understand our love for them as a farm, so we’ve decided to write you a post and show you a few images.

Jersey Milk

Ivy House Farm is our main organic dairy supplier and we adore their beautiful and very friendly jersey cows, who make the super scrummy jersey milk. Ivy House Farm not only provide us with organic milk but also organic cream and organic butter. Being able to see how happy the cows are, as well as how well they’re treated and how much the Bowles Family value them is something to truly treasure in a supplier.

Dairy Farming

Dairy farming has been a contentious subject for many years now. Back in the good old days' farmers were able to each have a couple of dairy cows and that was viable enough. However, milk prices plummeted which lead to a lot of farmers being forced to stop and the farmers who continued had to grow in their production size as the demand grew. These days finding a gem of an organic dairy family farm like Ivy House Farm, who are farming in a sustainable way is a rarity. Ivy House Farm is straying away from modern dairy farming techniques that have driven a lot of consumers away from using the products created, we applaud them for managing to diversify, making us very tasty products at the same time as staying true to the best of British farming.
