Mike, Christine and their son John rear their slow-growing Bronze turkeys from start to finish. The birds enjoy growing gradually on what Dartmoor has to offer, as well as a simple, traditional cereal-based and certified organic diet. After them having six months to grow they will be carrying a succulent layer of fat, this is what makes them super succulent and tender to enjoy at Christmas.
The birds are hand plucked on the farm, meaning they get to spend their whole lives in the serene setting that is Frenchbeer Farm.
