What’s New in our Farm Shops?
It’s been a while since we visited our Farm Shops & Café’s, so here’s what’s new…
It’s been a while since we’ve visited our Farm Shops & Cafes in Tavistock, Totnes & Marlborough, and there’s been quite a few updates and changes since we were last there. Our Farm Shops & Cafes work to support local high streets whilst providing the communities with the best of organic food and drink. Totnes and Marlborough also present customers with the chance to try our organic produce in their cafes, which also have big plans of their own in the future. Here’s a little reminder of what’s on offer at each of our Farm Shops, and what may have changed since you last visited…
Eversfield Organic Tavistock Farm Shop
The first of our organic Farm Shops was born in 2019, located in the quaint market town of Tavistock. Only a short drive from our organic farm, Tavistock Farm Shop perfectly showcases our range of organic food and drink, from award-winning organic meat to kitchen larder staples and our impressive wine cave. The organic and grass fed meat from our very own farm is hand-butchered at the Shop’s butchers counter, plus find a range of charcuterie and cheese at the deli counter. Round up your weekly shop with fresh organic fruit and veg from our own Market Garden, plus everything you need to keep your fridge and cupboards full.
Our Tavistock Farm Shop also has an organic coffee bar, producing barista-style coffees, teas and hot drinks available to take away from the Shop. Just like our other Farm Shops, Tavistock also has a range of special offer and seasonal products available, which change daily and of course, with the seasons. Right now, the shop is brimming with everything needed for the perfect organic pancake day and keep an eye out for Mother’s Day and Easter products coming soon.
If you’re lucky enough to live in Tavistock, or in the surrounding area, then you may also qualify for our local delivery route. This way, you can get your organic food shop delivered straight to your door in one of our refrigerated vans when you order on our website. Find out more about that here.
Eversfield Organic Totnes Farm Shop & Café
Much like our Tavistock Farm Shop, our Totnes Shop offers the finest organic produce from our Devon farm and a selection of local, organic producers. The Totnes Shop also has an ethical butchers counter, deli, organic fruit and vegetables, larder essentials, chilled products and the popular wine cave. This year, our Totnes Shop is also taking part in Totally Locally’s Fiver Fest, in which you can get a 1L organic milk, 6 organic eggs and 6 traditional organic sausages for just £5. Fiver Fest is running in our Totnes Shop from 12th-26th March.
The larger space at our Totnes location has allowed us also to open an organic café and bar above the Farm Shop. This versatile upstairs café and bar is the perfect stop for a morning coffee, afternoon cake, lunchtime bite or evening of fun, serving a selection of 100% organic dishes and drinks. The varied range includes grass fed beef and British, organic Charcuterie from our own Farm in Devon. The relaxed atmosphere of our organic Café in Totnes offers a universal appeal. What’s more, the café has big plans of its own coming soon… watch the space!
The three-story building in the centre of Totnes also holds our Wellness Loft, comprised of The Wellness Studio and a few small Therapy Rooms. The Wellness Studio is large, bright and airy, perfect for a range of activities from yoga and pilates to parent and baby groups or creative workshops. The Therapy Rooms are also versatile, great for one-to-one workshops, beauty therapy and counselling. Eversfield Organic Marlborough Farm Shop & Café
Our newest Farm Shop in Marlborough has everything our Totnes Shop offers, with an additional Fishmongers. Our dedicated fish counter is super popular with our customers in Marlborough and has recently undergone a full re-pricing. The counter is now more reasonably priced, holding fresh, daily caught fish with special offers changing weekly.
The upstairs café is much like our Totnes Café, and both have recently seen their 100% organic menu refreshed in the light of the new season. Our organic ethos sees us working with nature and the seasons, and our organic menus reflect this as they too change with what’s in season. This also keeps our customers happy, ensuring new offerings every few months, so they can truly taste the difference of organic, naturally produced food. Again, our Marlborough Café and Bar has new plans in the works, with lots of exciting updates to come.
Our Marlborough Farm Shop have also recently introduced a range of freshly baked, homemade cakes available in the café and in the shop to takeaway. These include all the classics, from lemon cake to carrot cake and brownies, all made with 100% organic ingredients.
